Vila Nova da Cerveira belongs to the District of Viana do Castelo, located next to the Minho River that forms the border between Portugal and Spain with excellent accessibility through the A3 and A28 motorways that allows the connection with Porto and Braga in 60 minutes away. Vigo/Spain, which is about 30 minutes away, offers the nearest airport.

Just a few minutes' drive away, you can enjoy beautiful beaches, such as Moledo beach or La Guardia beach in Spain.
Vila Nova de Cerveira also has two Industrial Poles (Industrial Zone I and II) and an Industrial Park (Fulão). Located in the parishes of Campos, Vila Meã and Cornes, these areas have more than 40 companies installed and distributed over 127 lots. In recent years, there has been a very large investment from renowned companies in the Naval Area.

Locally, gastronomy is also one of the advantages of the region, getting the best that can be fished in the Minho River and the typical veal meat, being a region also known for its production of Vinho Verde that can be suitable for any typical meal.
